  1. In my opinion, TVs will be obsolete soon. Huge computer screens will take the place of all TVs. The computer will act like a TV in that it will stream shows from online. The computer will still be able to access the internet and video chat and do so much more that people today could only dream of. I think eventually there will be no more cable companies and it will be legal websites paid by television networks that will broadcast the new episodes.
People still will want to watch their shows, they will just watch them all legally through the internet instead of legally through cable. Instead of cable companies making money, it will be websites.

TVs have already started the transition into computer-like devices. For example, my TV at home can already access the internet, tell me the weather, and so much more. I don't even have the most up-to-date television and I have all that. The transition is happening, and like all technologies, it's happening fast.
